What difference does it make? You gotta beat everyone anyway to win the finals!

??? It makes a huge difference. Teams like USA and ahem, Belgium, have no real chance to win the finals IMO. It's all about getting as far as you can, or getting further than your team has ever been. Sometimes it's just about getting a goal!

What is a real chance for you? Maybe not for USA but Belgium has the 5th best odds to win coming into this...

The main hypothetical issue for us "if all goes right" would be facing Argentina relatively early in the bracket which would, if anything, call it a hard one for us. Sure group is ok but that's about it.

I'm just bitter that USA got such a hard group, giving our poor squad almost no change to go to the final 16. And IMO Belgium got the softest group in the cup.

The first points have been given out. We have 6 brilliant pickers with 15 out of the possible 20 points. I'm tied for 7th with 10 points. I got Brazil and Mexico, but like most people, Spain botched my group B.

Amazing that absolutely nobody got all 20 points!
