Good list!

Marcus Car
A Clown Car with Guards Rifle troops inside, used to hunt down enemy light vehicles.

Do you think we could stop using this expression? Nothing against Marcus, it's just silly to name a commonly used unit after a player. It'd be fine to say Marcus pioneered its use, or something like that.

We can't just tell people to stop using an expression ;) I personally don't use it, but we added it because it is used by a part of the community.

You really need to cut down on the subheaders on the right. It should be used to get quick to a point and not list every unit that has 1 line of text.

It's a glossary. These sub-headers on the right (listed alphabetically) are there to allow people to quickly get to the point that interests them, without having to read the whole thing or a whole section. They already serve the purpose you are suggesting.

But right now scrolling trhough the article is faster or just as fast as looking on the right side

A clear guide, well written and presented, which I think will be instructive to newcomers.

Given the current animus of a few posters, it might not be a bad idea either to post a basic guide to etiquette.

I don't even have to scroll to see every single item in the TOC on the right, and looking is faster than scrolling ;) Maybe you have a smaller monitor and using the TOC or the body doesn't make a difference for you, but it does make a difference for people with bigger screens.

It might be worth adding t1-t4 in the glossary. Encountered a few players who didn't know what this meant.

Majority would have 1080p - and it requires scrolling on 1080p

I think nick-naming units after players is a great idea. Like twister said it's a part of the community.

I also think that a Marcus car should be kept named as such. A Marcus car is a special form of Clown Car so you know what is in it just by the name.

Thanks for the positive feedback, everyone, and thanks to the COH2.org staff for making my words all purty.

When I first decided to figure out CoH, I watched a shoutcast - game 2 of Siberian Platoon v. Guderian in the second Sandland Invitational - and probably only understood about 50% of what was being said. I had never seen any game shoutcast before and had not played RTS games since StarCraft. Still, it was so exciting that I got hooked and wanted to learn all the ins and outs of the game. As it turns out, that meant spending a lot of time searching the forums at GameReplays. Hopefully, this - and the other guides that people will make for COH2.org - will be of some use to new players who want to get a handle on the community around the game without having to read years and years of forum posts.

I would suggest adding Call-ins to the list. Nice guide by the way :)
