If you manage to get it to Vet 2 and have LOS (either from recon, or from units) then it isn't too bad and does fare quite well vs JT, KT & Ele. Its often pretty hard work getting it to vet 2 however due to the huge rng of it. Some times you will fire 1 shot and get instant vet 2 and others you might fire 5 - 10.
Second issue is that all the while the 1 click wipe that is stuka dive bomb exists, its useless (along with its vet).
Doctrine as a whole is OK imo. FMR is still useful after the nerf, if only for the run speed. KV-1 does need some love, starting with its old ROF back. |

First the guy lost the game and had pretty poor map control. Sure he dragged the game out what did it achieve? Nothing.
Second, if Jove had built a Stuka instead of the KT, emplacements would have been gone long before hand. The key to the emplacement commander is killing the FHQ, since it removes the free repairs. He also could have force braced all emplacements with his off map, then just yolo run in 3 volks and flame nade just before brace runs out. Not much you can do about that, especially with the P4 / at guns assisting.
Third, you say its too strong for the costs. Are you talking about the base cost of the emplacement, or including tech costs, FHQ costs & munition costs for the upgrade?
Forth, since apparently John Smith is a low level player, care to post your own player card or replays of your high level games?
Edit: Also lol at Dane saying the JT needs buffing. Yeh lets buff it for 1v1 and make it batshit OP for 2v2 + |

There was a problem that existed years ago to do with AMD and mouse cursor corruption, though I found it only happened in CoH 1.
Recently the bug was reintroduced in a driver. Its worth making sure you are on the latest driver (as it was fixed I think), or try a slightly earlier one than you currently have.
Regarding borderless fullscreen, you can add this to the CoH2 launch options via steam
-window -fullwindow -forceactive -lockMouse
If you are not sure how to get here, right click CoH2 in your steam game list and select properties. Click set launch options under general and paste the above text in.

There are not enough people in the queue to get properly balanced games often. I would get maybe only 1/5 games that have players within 200 places of me. Its OK if you have some high and some not as long as its similar for both teams, though sadly it isn't.
Without more players the only other way would be to increase wait times, which are often 10+ minutes for me in 3's and 4's if not many players near my rank are on and even then I do not have faith in the match maker.
That being said you are currently ranked around 4000 on the leaderboard as US in 4v4. Once you grind up the leaderboard it will help quite a bit.
Teams can also cause problems. If you get a team who have not played 10 games together yet, they will not have a rank and so could get matched vs bad or good players, which might be why it seems the opponents are good. |

Are you getting semi decent frame rates?
A 970 is probably enough to run it @ 4k but I wouldn't expect great frame rates. I have previously run it @ 3200 x 1800 on a 290x without a problem, though the UI was a bit too small on a 27". The game isn't really designed to be run on 4k so unless you have a 30"+ monitor, then the UI will be a problem.
Anything overheating? Be a good idea to check CPU / GPU temp while playing in case something is throttling.

This is a hilarious, while I'm not myself a top 100 in 4v4 I'm in slightly above 150 in 3v3, and way more in 1v1 as soviet.

Your soviet is way more than what? My USF and Brit 1v1 ranks are in the top 100 as well (just hidden curently), so how much higher are we talking. Top 50? top 10? #1? |
