I suggest actually trying to shoot an AVRE through a two story stone house as the results are hilarious. The petard appears to rapidly skip off of the roof until it finally arks over the house and hits its intended target. It shoots through (or at least over) all two story stone houses. I haven't tested it on larger factory buildings but I suspect the results will be the same.
This whole thread is a moot point though. We're currently playing an old build of the Brits alpha that is rife with bugs and lacking many of the features relic has promised in the Sept 3 patch. I suggest saving balance discussions until at least playing the live build.
Why not make jackson have similar stats to other mediums?
make hp 640,
dmg 160
adjust rof
increase pen
keep armor as is
I don't know if the Jackson needs 640hp but maybe 560? That seems to work well for the M10. One of the issues with USF lategame is how fragile the Jackson is. Default spotting scope is an interesting idea as well.
One of the things that has always bothered me about PPSH and SMGs in general is how close you have to get to do damage. You pretty much have to stand right next to the enemy to get any benefit. PPSH would be in a better place if their weapon profile was closer to the short/medium range profile ARs such as the STG currently enjoy.
I would love some reskins but I suspect relic is going to focus their art department on creating new vehicles/assets as opposed to redesigning the appearance of existing content. The only reason the P4 got a redesign was because OKW used a variant of it in the western fronts expansion. While I don't believe relic is entirely happy with some of the old models they do seem to consider them "good enough".
