What icon would random have and how out of place would it look? How would loadouts be clear? These can be solved, of course, but it just complicates the job from what I imagine would not be too difficult to program. Why was this removed in the first place, it was in vCoH after all? Would like to hear opinions on this from the devs but for some unknown reason I can't start a thread on the official forums. What comes to the loadouts when searching random, I think it would be solved if the player was able to set a default loadout for every faction that the automatcher would use when searhching with random faction. Thread: Ostheer vs the USF6 Jul 2014, 08:13 AM I see no real solutions on this thread. MG42s are very hard to use and very easily flankable on most maps. Especially on the new WFA maps where there's barely line of sight in any direction, same goes for PaKs. The problem is the BAR blobs and LT that will screw your infantry in the early game. You'd need at least vet 2 grens with LMGs to compete with those. And the AAHT comes so early you won't be able to have schrecks by that time if you wish to have more than 2 or 3 T1 units. And the scout car isn't a counter against that thing. You can never just stall to tigers against USF unless you really outplay your opponent because most of the time you will struggle during the early game and end up in a very bad position. Click the icon, the ability changes color as they do it, nothing happens. It does not always eat my munitions, but it is still utterly frustrating to not have them work. I'm under the impression that they work, but the animation and the ability just take an unusually long time to start, it can take many seconds. But when you enter, for example, gunther09 or guntherHD you will not find me. And that happens to most people I look up. So I can go via an ID tool like http://steamidfinder.com/, but that is not really fun to look up Players again and again. Know what I mean? Thread: Option to search random factions in automatch2 Jul 2014, 14:08 PM Yes, it has been discussed before over and over but I think I have a cool idea that would take the feature one step forward from what it used to be in the vCoH days I think it would be cool to be able to search using any of the following options: 1. Search totally random (the automatcher tries to find you a match with any faction) 2. Search random allies (search a game as either USF or soviets) 3. Search random axis (search a game as either wehrmach or OKW) 4. Search random WFA factions (search a game as any of the WFA factions) 5. Search random vanilla factions (search a game with any of the vanilla factions) What do you guys think, would it be too confusing for the new players? In: Lobby
