Thread: Veteran (age) league and tournaments10 Feb 2014, 01:44 AM I'd recommend having leagues based on skill rather than Age, as age cannot be verified so easily. (That way those who can't compete with the younger guys can still fight people with a similar skill Lvl rather than a top 10 guy.(Something identical to what SC2 has.) Thread: Revitalizing the COH2 community?9 Feb 2014, 20:38 PM Bad advertising methods are the main culprit here imo. Balancing is a whole other story, which is an easier problem to solve. I feel the only way to "revitalize" the community would be to have a system of advertising targeting larger audiences, not just audiences in the limited sphere. Whenever I'm on other sites I always see a WoT or SC2 ad being shown, before CoH2 was launched not once did I hear about it either on T.V. or online(Specifically here in Merika'). In: Lobby

Thread: sniper / guards rifle7 Feb 2014, 17:58 PM My only problem with this strat is the timing for which the guards come out, normally you could counter this with a sc or fht, but since guards come out so quickly now at 1 CP it's a pain to counter someone who does this strategy, especially on a map like minsk where they just spam guards, snipers, and mines. I think if you gave the option to heal troops with each halftrack that would make camping on cutoffs much easier to carry out since your troops are constantly being healed on the front lines, this imo would make things too OP. I would recommend that relic add a new vehicle such as the hospital car to support this, however it would have to be 2 CPs and cost munitions/mp to bring out, as well as have a lock down requirement to be enabled/disabled with armor similiar to that of the opel blitz truck(basically an opel blitz truck transformed into a hospital car is what I'm going for here).
