Back Homeworld 3 on Fig and get guaranteed priority access to Homeworld Mobile.

While Homeworld 3 still looks to be some way off, a separate series project - with the work-in-progress title Homeworld Mobile - is seemingly much closer to fruition. This attempt to bring Homeworld's space-faring RTS action to mobile devices is being handled by developer Stratosphere, and will be out next year. There's the tiniest glimpse in the teaser below.
According to Gearbox, Homeworld 3 backers on Fig will be "guaranteed priority access" to Homeworld Mobile when it eventually arrives.
Homeworld returns with the next chapter of the story. Homeworld 3 is the true sequel to the legendary space-faring RTS. Blackbird Interactive, founded by original Homeworld Art Director Rob Cunningham takes the helm on development, returning the series to its roots with a gripping continuation of the story, fully 3D combat, and the classic RTS elements you expect.
Further supported by the veterans of Homeworld Remastered Collection at Gearbox Publishing, Homeworld 3 is coming to life and the teams couldn't be more ecstatic. With our partners at Fig, we can give fans both new and grizzled a chance to fuel and profit from Homeworld 3's success.

Be careful anyone thinking of backing this. They specifically DON'T mention what platforms they'll be launching the game on, only that i'll be PC with the excuse it's too far off to be determined. This isn't good enough.
This is your classical "we won't say it's EGS exclusive now, since we want your backing money" however, since it's Gearbox and Randy, it's almost certain it will be.
I love Homeworld 1&2 but i don't trust Gearbox. Nor should anyone.
From HW3 fig:

My personal take on crowdfunding this game:
As one old school fan I love Homeworld and BBI.
But I won't give Randy Pitchford (Gearbox CEO) any crowdfunding money especially not with all the EGS exclusivity + Shenmue 3 crowdfunding BS.
This is the post-shenmue 3 and BL3 era. No steam promise is non-acceptable.
Crowdfunding relies heavily on trust and transparency. That includes choosing the right publisher.
The current gearbox CEO is very biased against steam.
Get a new Gearbox CEO and promise no exclusivity. Then I'll consider supporting this.
GC: You joked about it in the demo, but would you really consider becoming an Epic Games Store exclusive?
JS: [laughs] Everybody’s been in touch. I mean, all of a sudden, in the last 18 months, we’ve had Stadia, we’ve had Epic Games, we’ve had the new console generation announced… there are so many options. That’s why we’re trying to simplify and say, ‘Look, right now we’re going to make a really good PC game’.
GC: Would you consider not doing it purely so as to not upset fans?
JS: Frankly, if somebody comes in and says, ‘Hey, do you want $25 million and we’ll make you an exclusive?’ We’re going to go [makes the face anyone would make if offered $25 million].
GC: I’m not sure it’d be quite that much. [laughs]
JS: [laughs] Right! But we are a for-profit organisation and you have to assume the consequences of that. But right now we’ve had a great relationship with Steam for eight years. There’s a lot of other options out there… of course we’re talking to them. Of course you have marketing visits from people.
But I don’t even know, marketing doesn’t, she’s PR [points to PR woman] and she doesn’t know… We’re talking to everybody, but I would hate to ruin our relationship with Steam or make the community angry.

Another interesting tidbit of information that's been hinted at for some time is that all new Xbox titles will come to GamePass on PC. Greenberg said while speaking to GameStar about digital games distribution and subscription models like GamePass:
We're going to bring all of our titles when they launch into GamePass on PC, included in the service. We've got a lot of great third-party support as well, and we know a lot of people both play on the PC and on console.
That's great, so we have options for them but even just as a dedicated PC gamer, we're working with a lot of the big PC publishers to bring their titles and them reach a broader audience as well ... so the key there is to overdeliver on value but consumers obviously still have choice if they want to subscribe or buy.
Suffice it to say, that's a pretty clear indication that Age of Empires 4 will be included in GamePass at launch, whenever that may be. As of this writing, there is still no release window for the game. However, that may very well change at XO19 in a little less than three months.
