The MHT, heh, this unit costs 40 fuel and has less range than the 120mm. The last couple of days it seems the soviets have gotten word of this thread and so i am seeing the 120mm in every game. I purposely swapped my commanders to give me the MHT. Using this unit puts the ostheer in a severe disadvantage.
Most the time the 120 is sat near the soviet base, so to get your MHT near it can be very difficult, the incendary barrage can be avoided, and the fuel used means that soviets have armour advantage.
So even if this unit performs well against the 120mm you have to rememeber that it forces the germans into a doctrine and puts them at a disadvantage fuel wise. |

In regards to the T70, if the germans have been harrassed on their fuel the whole game, this little moster comes into the game very quickly and can basically make the german retreat any squad they want. at which point the germans lose any map control they had, normally still needing a fair amount of fuel to get a p4 out, at which point the soviets can easily get at least 1 T34.
T34's are normally spammed at this point, and the germans have no reply, pak guns normally get killed very easily, infantry die in secs, and the p4 has no chance.
Even if the roles are reversed and the german has done well and harrassed the soviet fuel, they can still manage to get a t34 out around the same time as the p4 making german armour rushes redundant. Unless the german really dominated and the soviet was completely restricted on fuel.
Since the T34 changes were introduced last patch this tank has become a monster for the price.
Not only did they make it fairly useful against tanks, it is crazy effective vs infantry and paks. I would like to see a price increase on this tank to say 100 fuel. |

I made a post about this unit more than a month ago. It is one of the many units that can take whole squads out within the soviet arsenal. COH is about unit preservation, and for the germans this is the toughest part of the game. |

SO about half way through the game, a T34 finally runs over my teller mine when retreating. Less than half HP. i expected it to die, but no, engine damage - no. |
i watched the replay. i think you were too unflexible in your play, too reliant on getting up the panzer4 asap. im no pro, here's what i felt.
2) failing to recognize t1 + guards would mean total reliance on soviet rifle infantry, there will be no support teams/shock troops hindering panzergrens from closing up and mopping up. ppsh conscripts are still no match for panzergrens and grenadier mixes. here was where i thought ur play was inflexible, hard pushing that panzer4 was a mistake, delaying it for panzergrenadiers and exploiting ur enemy's apparent infantry weakness would have won you map control and delaying that su85.
You forgot he had 2 snipers..... making PG's farily redundant

Thats funny, coz there was no lag the whole game, i have good internet. Very weird how suddenly you drop and i get a loss even though i had VP's in my favour.
Now people will know how u got such a high rank even though your bad at this game. |
