Handheld AT in coh2 is soft AT, which means it is generally ment to scare off enemy tanks or support hard AT in killing them, not kill them by itself with one long range salvo. That is the job of pak walls.
The only handheld AT unit in game that was aimed as hard AT is the pgren squad with upgrade. This is good and acceptable becouse not only they cost an arm and a leg but also this is their one and only role as they are useless against infantry (after upgun) and have no support duties.

This is a quick List of the units that need to be balanced and fixed:
after the last balance patch it leaded axis to be squishy at some points and very hard to counter allies especially the soviets and USF, So I've come up to the conclusion of the following:
1- Soviets: Decrease Penals DPs or Decrease number of squad members from 6 to 5 men.
T-70 Light tank MP needs to be increased and DPs needs to be lowered, this tank is a killing machine!
2- USF: Fix the USF turbo mortar reload time or just make a copy paste to Ostheer Mortar.
The Staurts MP needs to be increased, DPs is okay it's not OP like T-70.
3- Ostheer: Poor Grenadiers should be a 5 men squad rather than just 4.
Fix Panther Accuracy and make it better just like the OKWs.
I think that's it for now. Feel free to add more or correct me if im wrong at any point from the above.
Where is problem? Game never was more ballanced. In past was axis easy mod.

America having 1/3rd or 1/4th of some European countries history has done much more for this world than them, so it's not about how long or "great" your history is, it's what you've done in it, and America has given much to the world unlike most European countries which were oppressed by monarchies and conservative, static thinking for too long in order for them to reach their full potential.
Why do you even think whoever wanted to do something and had some bright idea went to American in the first place? Because he knew he might be able to do something there, take Nicola Tesla for example, we invented AC (Alternate Current for those not familiar with electricity), the modern light bulb and a hell of a lot more, if it wasn't for the greed of men (yes, Edison being one of those men sadly), we'd have free world wide WIRELESS electricity and maybe even internet.
So in the end, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what YOU can do for YOUR country.

Look, we all disagree about how to balance the mortar pit, but can we at least agree that its veterency requirements are preposterously small?
You can get to Vet 3 with 8 kills. That is astoundingly ridiculous.
To compare, I put a sturmtiger in cheatmode. It took 186 kills to get to Vet 3.
I know this is not exact science, because of how the mortar pit often does damage without killing, whereas sturm pretty much annihilates. However, when you see a mortar pit that has 3 stars of veterancy and it has only been up for 2 minutes, something is really wrong.
Relic, at the very least, adjust the Vet requirements for certain weapons.
All mortars have the same vet requirements, basis on purchase (men power).

So as you can read the title there's something wrong when playing in multiplayer, alot of inexperienced players are added into the game when playing 2vs2 and more and its so unfair! and game is over too early! This is my second account and i have 1000 hrs of play on the old one, and i know what im talking about. It used to be much better before in 2015 before the HUGE Relic sales which ruined the game and ended up adding many bad players who don't even how to play! This has been happening for the past few weeks, and cost me 3 ranks down when playing 3vs3 i keep losing becuase of bad teammates, i swear there is always this player who will be camping, spamming the wrong unit and doing nothing or building fuel caches in the first 5 mins and cant even counter attack or react to a situation its happening at levels 11 and 12! and sometimes teammates are amazing and matches easily won with good tactics and coordination! i know im not the best and i do mistakes as well but i still have skills and knowledge all around the game, its very unfair because i have to play for too long and at the end we lose because of players who arent supposed to be in the game! many players should be in lower ranks i dont understand how can they be in the same level as im when they cant even play properly and lose because of bad micro? i dont mind waiting for 20 mins for matchmaking, all i need is a fair game with players with the same level and experience please do something!
Players without rank, play in random position on ladder, than obtain correct rank. In this reason you can sometimes gain nonsuitable teammates. It is a tax for playing in random team.
(and many times mates leave in no reason)
Solutions is finding steady teammates and play AT. |
