Thread: Advise good CoH-like RTS game3 Aug 2013, 13:46 PM there is vCoh i would recommend men of war(series) if you want world war 2. but god dam its micro micro micro management. each unit has an inventory. it is still a lot of fun. you can ride units at certain times. and it has true true sight(as in soldier cant literaly see behind their backs. can be disabled). people have been telling me to buy wargame ariland battle, but i don't like its realistic distances and suppahuge maps. what is this RTS for ants? Thread: Langreskaya 50 minute game.2 Aug 2013, 02:57 AM well, it was an intense match. the Russian player had the map controlled most of the time. an eternal capping back and forth during the whole match. getting cut-off and frontal assaults. when his infantry was overwhelming me. i decided to go for an ostwind. i managed to keep away from his AT while saving as much as i could for a p4. more minutes later i see he is focusing too much on infantry, he killed most of mine, i was already going to give up. but said fuck it, i have to make a good replay for my mentor, so i take out 2 mgs and call in a tiger. cementing the domination of great part of the enemy territory. the game keeps being stalled untill the second tiger goes in. in reality i was afraid of taking p4s or teching to panthers. i felt id rather wait to see more of his army and get a proper counter. so i saved resources. which were later spent on tigers. i hope you enjoy. the match was filled with combat all the way till the end. Thread: Why some Russians hate COH2 [BadComedian] 1 Aug 2013, 23:34 PM after watching this video and seeing your replies. i have to say i am really disappointed in all of you. the video literally was the same i thought about the game campaing. 2 peoples 1 russian (badcomedian), a colombian (undostrecuatro). 2 people raised differently, with different beliefs and culture. yet we think the same about the game campaign. disregarding his opinion just because he presents it in a Dark satire tone. i am disappointed. i have to apologise to Sturmovik for mocking him from time to time. and now i understand why he is bottered even more because (i suppose he is russian), and loves the game. but the game does not love back. i want to end quoting bad comedian. the name of the game is COMPANY OF HEROES In: Lobby

The deep snow seriously rustle my jimmies though. It feels like it serves no useful / fun purpose and the maps would play out more fun without them. If we're keeping them at least change what they do, like slow movement grr okay but maybe I can use it as a camo / cover point. they give cammo during blizzards. and the German doctrine cammo. can make them camo even outside blizzards. Thread: what is it,langres for ants?1 Aug 2013, 16:43 PM Jump back to quoted post1 Aug 2013, 15:04 PMPorygon Why should flanking be punished even more while they are like almost useless now? company of flanking? its a snow map. snow tactics are different than summer tactics. you don't send troopers to swim on a water map, you send then on boats (and suddenly beaches have a strategic importance). this is not Dota 2 winter map decorations(snow that does not affect game play). the deep snow applies to both sides. you can have a mortar an be safe that units wont run to it. you can set up your own mg on the other side. you can even try to charge in with smoke and a transport. and if i am not wrong. troopers become invisible during storms on deep snow even if they are moving. but no you don't want to adjust your tactics to the map. the map must adjust to your tactics. don't take it personally. i am just rambling. i really like snow maps. i just think that some of its mechanics should use some tweaking.
