If it's needed to keep the unit viable, I still think the bug should be "fixed" by just removing the setup time entirely and making it fire only when stopped like the USF HT.
Yeah, the only problem with that is that because CoH 2 doesn't use targetting tables, if AoE weapons like the 152mm howi/leFH 18 were to do a low amount of damage in order to prevent them from 1 shotting infantry squads, they'd also be useless against vehicles.
You could keep the damage high on direct hits and just make it fall off quickly. It'll still annihilate clumped units but that's obviously intentional.
After the input delay reduction I remember feeling like everything was super snappy and responsive, it was heaven. Now I feel like i'm playing through a layer of slime with gloves on.
My input delay has shot through the roof since the december update. Has anyone else experienced this? I also seem to get a lot more temp freezes than before but that could just be my frustration getting the better of me.
Doesn't always seem to happen though, sometimes it's fine. When it's not fine it's worse than it has ever been with delays up to a full second.
