Some players do care about their 4v4 rank, but there are so few teams playing 4v4 AT regularly that the ladders are not a very meaningful indication of anything. I don't like how people translate this by saying "nobody cares" about 4v4 rank at all. Especially since it seems to imply that nobody cares about 4v4 balance, which is absurd. That being said, it's much easier to obtain a high 4v4 rank than a high 1v1 rank, or 2v2 AT rank. As a result, those ranks are much more respected. Even then, I will never really understand how the ranking system works. Why is cruzz higher than me in USF 2v2 random with a record of 18-5 and a streak of -1? Beats me. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: USF Abilities Questions16 Sep 2014, 17:21 PM Not sure about the para ability, I haven't used it in a long time. On Me! gives everything nearby some combat bonuses and breaks suppression, but also makes everything blob right up next to your captain including team weapons! Even AT guns. So be careful with it. It requires a lot of micro to immediately follow the ability up with proper positioning but it can be very powerful in conjunction with smoke etc. Yes. They must be out of combat. No, but they do receive bonus vet from nearby units. I have not tested standing next to a teammate's units though. The captain's supervise ability does work on teammate's base buildings. Thread: Against the Kubel heavy opening (2v2)16 Sep 2014, 17:16 PM kubel range is the same as fighting position rifle nade range too, so if you can get one up in an important area early, it will at least force the kubels away or to keep moving, so it can't suppress as easily. Also being in the position breaks suppression, so you can throw suppressed squads inside if they are close enough. It helps a lot, but of course positioning it is key. In: US Forces Strategies
