Just finished it. Didn't read any threads about it or anything, just tried to kick the shit out of the AI as if it was a multiplayer game. Fast and dirty, don't lose squads, combined arms, no cheese, etc. I had fun.
The parser has trouble with particular replays. At the moment I'd say it's working about 85-90% of the time. Hopefully Seb will get a chance to look at it again after the holidays.
I don't mind that a player has to take a risk to try to sweep a demo. That's fine.. it's even an exciting moment. What I mind is that once a sweeper detects a demo, the rest of the army has no way to efficiently target the thing and destroy it, and we have to sit there and watch a player impotently fire PAK shot after PAK shot, or watch the Luchs miss and miss and miss again (via attack-ground), and we have to imagine that the player is pulling his hair out in frustration. That's the part that Relic needs to fix.
