Thread: Grenadier's wall of death17 Sep 2015, 16:46 PM This really depends on the game mode you're playing since from my perspective from 1v1/2v2 having more than 4 grenadiers causes the player to bleed so much manpower that they can't even get their first pak out before you can make a t70 to eat their blobs up But about the counter, having maxims suppress them and guards to deal the dmg works fine, depending on the commander you can even have flanking cons with ppsh's to close up to them to pretty much force retreat, and in the mid game Su76s help a ton because of the barrage and anti tank value to counter any early tank rushes from the opponent In: Red Army Strategies
Thread: Why should 17P cost fuel and cannot shoot through wall?17 Sep 2015, 16:37 PM The pak43 is doctrinal and the doctrines are not too good (For ostheer atleast) and it gets decrewed or even destroyed from pretty much any decent artillery (With extremely good rng it survives with only a few soldier losses or some light dmg to the actual gun) And about the 17p emplacement, it doesn't bleed MP when hit with most indirect, doesn't really require to have a reinforcement spot next to it, can take a ST shot to the face without getting destroyed (Pak43 can't survive a AVRE shot for comparison), and it has brace to take even less dmg from any sort of attack These two are so differently designed that they shouldn't be compared imo The only thing they should change about the Pak43 is the veterancy, it gets vet way too quickly In: COH2 Balance
