Thread: Sync-Error8 Oct 2015, 03:15 AM I've had several sync-errors (leading to bugsplats) in team games lately. In every case they have occurred against a low-ranking team that had thoroughly lost, and were typically venting angrily (current balance issues don't help). Consequently, I have no doubt that they were the result of some form of hack. However, despite the depressing "Defeat" screen you needn't worry. Relic still has arbitration based on trust ratings. I find that I am still attributed the win in these situations, as those who resort to hacks would likely have far more relative/absolute dubious matches against their names. In: COH2 Bugs

If you cannot run a wire from your computer to your router I recommend looking into the power line adapters. One hooks into your router and a power outlet. Last I checked, powerline adapters had really high latency. That was a few years back though. Have they resolved that now? I disagree that wireless is inherently bad for gaming. 1ms latency to a wireless router is perfectly normal. A lot of it has to do with the how solid the walls in your house are, as that can rapidly deteriorate your signal. Line of sight improves wireless signal massively. What you might want to check out is whether a neighbour has introduced a competing wireless network. Although there are a lot of wireless channels, there are only three that don't actually overlap in regards to their use of the frequency spectrum, and overlap causes problems. The cleanest channels are 1, 6, and 11. Resolution: 1920x1080 No AA or VSync All other in-game graphics options set to max. All values from fresh boot of the game. Playing two maps in a row meant the VRAM wasn't fully flushing. Usage went up by 500MB on the same map. VRAM usage may increase as game goes on. These were all taken at the beginning. La Gleize (6-8 Players) - Changing Textures Higher: 3.3GB High: 2.8GB Medium: 1.6GB Low: 1.2GB Changing Snow Quality and Image Quality had no noticeable impact on VRAM usage. Angoville (2 Players) - Changing Textures Higher: 1.9GB Low: 0.984GB So there's totally room to play with less than 4GB of VRAM, especially if 1v1 is your thing.
