You're making a mountain out of a molehill for a relatively mediocre tank. Any armour nerfs will kill it like the churchill because it really doesn't have much going for it. PIV struggles to pen not because the comet armour is OP, but because as a tank that's its weakpoint (PIV's got great armour, vet, smoke and AI but below average penetration). Build a couple of 90 fuel StuG's and you will pen a comet just fine. In: COH2 Balance |

Only issue with the Comet aside from its bugging abilities that have ridiculous range at 80 is its rear armour is high at 180 which is better than most medium tanks, on par with a stock PIV. 500mp+185 fuel+Anvil upgrade costs If you nerf the armour to being reliably penned by a PIV it would need a hefty cost decrease. with 2 firefly's and some ammo you can kill a KT in one volly( 200 ammo) I managed to do it in one game ( it got away with 1% health deathcrit maingun destroyed, did they not remove that? 2 fireflies + double commander upgrade + double tulip upgrade + the tulips themselves is a lot more than 200 muni. Really I would love to see that replay because all the OKW player has to do is upgrade a few panzerhreks and his KT is invincible wiping squads at will to your arthritic AT only fireflies. Americans/soviets have it a lot easier with SU-85's and Jacksons which don't require you to sink 300 odd munition per tank, plus a hefty chunk of extra fuel and MP. They also don't have 10 second reloads and do better DPS to boot tulips included. In: COH2 Balance |

Emplacements and British indirect fire needs a massive overhaul, along with almost all the vanilla British commanders that are just a mess and barely utilized. Factor in stuff like overpriced/crap units; AEC, Bren carrier, valentine, sexton, commandos, PIAT's, heavy engineers etc. Also stuff like the lack of AT snare, flamer infantry and heavy upgrade costs for infantry sections (bolster, grenades, brens) that barely keep up with axis infantry that get their upgrades for free and suddenly you have a very gimmick reliant and fragile faction. But now brit gimmicks have been nerfed into the ground (croc, glider, off map arty, centuar, crit shot) UKF have been exposed for how fundamentally flawed as a faction they actually are. Massive overhaul needed, but I don't think anything will happen at this stage from relic, the most we can expect is yet another nerf to the "overpowered" Churchill that costs the same as a tiger.
