For funsies (and assuming I'm not retarded at math) if we took the 4 million in 2014 and assume they are the only 8k who regularly play the game, that's .002 that actually stick around, just in 2014. The game has been out since June 2013, that's not even counting those who pre-purchased, purchased on launch etc etc. 8,000 peak concurrent players (which is a number we can find out from steam charts) doesn't equate to 8,000 active players. Still quite bad though in comparison :/ ~100k - 180k more like, using those MWNL achievements 4% of the player base has the Snore, Snore, Total Bore achievement. Which I believe required you to win at least one game (vs ai, vs player) during the weekend. I cant remember what you had to do to get the Romani Ite Domum achievement but 0.6% of the player base has it. Which would be 24k. In: Lobby

I will say that the game is fucking boring for me, I find it to be an exercise in frustration (bugs, one shot squad wipes, terrible pathing etc.) and tedium (shreck and lmg blob vs mass aoe death machines and endless call in heavy tanks every game) The more I play it the more frustrated I get with it, doesn't matter if I win or lose. Thread: In Game Store???26 Feb 2015, 22:29 PM I enjoy playing team games and play them more than 1v1 but because I organised tournaments and did shout casts I'm apparently "1v1 taliban scum" I would like games not to devolve into call in spam vs OKW infantry death balls and not get pissed off when unit abilities take my ammo but don't fire or infantry gets stuck on random objects during retreat or my vehicles path in a spazzy way so they spin on the spot and eats a million AT gun shots or an M8A1 just gibs all my infantry in one shot or a vet 3 rifle grenade insta gibs my MG etc. Instead of a rather superfluous shop system which doesn't help address root issues with the game but is merely more window dressing which won't help retain players. A CoHO business model wouldn't give you a big player base as the concurrent players for CoHO wasn't even half the concurrent users for regular CoH.
