Nullist doesn't actually play this game at all so it's a non issue.


I hope the veterency changes involve some buffs to conscript dps. Without ppsh they become pretty crummy vs vetted pgrens and grens.


You are confusing issues.

Vanilla vetted Cons vs Grens are fine.
A V2 Con isnt any crummier vs a V2 Gren, than a V0 Con is crummier than a VO Gren.

Im surprised a writer doesnt distinguish a difference that is so literally obvious...

You are talking about LMG Grens, not veterancy.

And involving PGrens in that statement is even more ironious, since at cost and tier they are MEANT to be superior AI.

Were Mortar firing sounds made much louder?

Well, the posts here have at least finally convinced me that Relic will keep at balance, even going so far as a big veterancy overhaul.

So looks like I'm buying DLC to support it.

One aspect that looks like it may have changed as well is unit responsiveness and response time. I notice much less delay. Has this been modified as well, or is it my imagination?

There's still delays.

Will be interesting to see what all the changes really are.

But, it's a good sign when the balance team recognizes the issues in Soviet play. No one's saying it's all bad, but there's significant issues, and likely they have some data to back that up.

Just to answer a previous question, beta invites are closed for now. We'll likely open it up again in a few months.

Some have guessed correct, we're currently testing a new veterancy system. We're looking to better maintain unit roles through vet and avoid scenarios where units now take twice as many shots to die.

You might also notice some differences with the AT guns on both sides.


Wish I could have applied. I only just heard about a special beta version.
