Post-Patch Audio Bug: Low Volume of HQ Voice

New topic

New Reply

Since the last patch I have noticed instances where the warnings given by the HQ have become extremely low in volume. This includes warnings of squads dying, which is extremely frustrating.

I noticed this too, while playing the Case Blue missions.

Yep, announcer warnings are extremely quiet now. Almost inaudible.

I second this, some of the announcements are very low volume.

yeah this is really getting annoying, can't hear the radio intercepts either

A temporary work around to this is to adjust the volume on your sound FX and music but they should look into this. I don't like sacrificing sound effects for game warnings.

Experienced that bug too.

I only noticed it because you brought it up here 8)

In my games, what I get is a normal announcement to begin with, but the message decays quickly and about half of it becomes inaudible.

I've noticed this in multi-player as well.

Never realized this but yes, the warnings could be louder.

There is a problem, yes. It seems the sound of the announcements starts normal and occasionally drops very low for a while.
