I never understood why go for a Dark Crusade/Soulstorm type of campaign and invest time and resources into it and make it 1 sided, the OKW being playable just made sense, especially for a $40 price tag.
Or at least they could have played it in 2 parts, the first being the German push into the Ardennes, catching the American forces there off-guard, and then part 2 being about the retaliation of the American forces or something like that.
