Hi,
I am surprised that nobody bring this up so here it is.
I just had 2 losses in a row without even playing because lag/kick "feature".
The logic behind giving me a loss really is beyond my comprehension.
You can check the time for example or number of units created or number of skirmishes or something to decide about who is the winner or not.
It is the same logic as a 10ys old game, maybe it's time to change it, at least temporary to see how it works.
Considering this is a ladder based game, getting loses without any reason is really demotivating and annoying. At least half of my loses in the ladder are of this kind, so for me ladder motivation is out the window and I hope that Relic is aware how important motivator ladder is, not only in COH but in any online game.
This is really easy to fix( just wait for the game to take at least 5 minutes for example). I know that noobs will abuse this by quitting the game if they play a better player, but who cares about this kind of people? Because of them the whole community has to suffer?
People who really want to play will be happy to have an opportunity to play a better player and learn.
I am pretty sure I am not alone in this.

it's the same for everyone so it's perfectly possible to compete in the ladder

It's not fine at all. A lot of people don't quit laggy games because are afraid of losing. They should either fix the netcode which is total crap or temporary fix win/loss logic until netcode is fixed.
I used to play Starcraft which basically from netcode technical point of view it's the same thing and never ever had similar situations.
Or maybe is not the netcode, it's the peer to peer which have it's limitations. Either way, me as a customer I should not worry about this details. I pay money to get a working product.
This game costs the same price like Starcraft but technically is a piece of crap.

The thing is that you can still get the win when the other guy kicks you and the more those guys kick people, the more often other people get a win anyways and the kicking guy gets a loss.
