I don't know how easy it'd be to accomplish, but it'd be a great QoL improvement if the following change could be made:
When people are in a lobby for PvP or PvE automatch, spawn them together on the same side of the map.
Why? Can't you just play on the side you want to?
Well, no. Some people just go the side they spawn on, to the nearest point. Some people ignore your attempts to communicate this in-game ('Hey, Intektor and I are in Teamspeak together, xrandomplayer123x can you please play right?'), and it could be argued that the extra 10% distance you have to run can be significant, especially as people stress the importance of bulletins with seemingly negligible 2% buffs.
