SNF stream quality question ?

i have just one question about SNF stream. U put so much effort and time in SNF with organization, news, key give away, sponsors, also developers are in stream chat, but i dont get it why the fuck is only 2 options of stream quality. 360p suck so hard, that you cant see really what is going on, and there is 1080p which is good, but you need really good net connection to watch it without any lag. Why there is no 640p or 720p stream quality for us who are between those 2 options. What is the point to give 1 or 2 more stream quality options ?

It's very simple. Twitch.tv simply ignores the SNF team. I know that AmiPolizeifunk has tried several times to contact them about it, but they won't respond. I suggest everyone to send an mail to twitch about it, maybe they'll respond then. Hopefully it gets done asap

I quess twitch policy here: the better stats stream has ( vievers, follows, subs) more support and options they add, more attention they give you. Breaking 1k vievers might help here. Also SNF is once a week show, and they like stream as much as you can, everyday. It might be the reason why snf lags, if you look at twitch partner program, you must stream at least 3 times a week.

It might be the reason why snf lags, if you look at twitch partner program, you must stream at least 3 times a week.
We're already partner plus we had those res options last season. Somehow they got lost when we changed the name of the channel. We're still trying to get the other res's back but so far we haven't had much luck getting a response from twitch.

They were lost long before the name change. twitch dropped the extra transcodes when we were dark for many months after Season 3.

I hope you manage to sort it out. I had to stop watching due to lag at 1080p. 360p is too fuzzy. I rarely watch any streams at less than 720p.

if there not gonna provide support i suggest looking into other stream services to see if you can get more support because they don't appear to be giving any. this happens when they discover they don't have to lift a finger to keep people around because there the best. and go into I can do what I want mode (I dont' give a crap about you.)
1 suggestion that might help alleviate the problem for some would be to broadcast in 720p so that more people can watch without lag. it still looks very nice in 720p. but more importantly no matter how hard it may be to leave 1080p i think it might be better so that more viewers can watch the stream i can barely watch it myself and 360p is just to blocky can't see a thing.

Thank god! My computer/connection couldn't decide whether it could handle 1080; sometimes it could, sometimes not. Nothing worse than looking forward to this as the only real break for an entire week and then get a "sorry, not today - this evenings offers: 360p on your 32 screen or a high quality slideshow".
So - whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooha!
