This happens to anyone who experienced a game crash before, after relaunching the game it does a quick "update", however I think this might just be a "let's quickly check to see if everything is in order" - "repair". Can be annoying but not too much since it only takes like a few minutes and how many times does the game crash in the long run anyway.
Those Yankees will pay when we find them!

I was in a 2v2 game; it crashed for both me and my teammate. No idea what the cause was.
