I know the game have not been officially released, but it did have a beta and such. Just wondering if any people that play COH2 played SS4.

I enjoyed the Blitzkrieg series a lot, as well as the Sudden Strike games. Would you recommend SS4 to CoH veterans? I was really disappointed by Steel Division after a lot of noisy and overexcited reactions on this forums..

If you guys are looking to a replacement for CoH 2 I suggest looking for Iron Harvest: 1920+

It's a game being developed by a German team (King Games or something like that) based on a Polish artist's work (oh the irony).

The game will feature 3 factions, those being the German Empire, Poland and Russia, and many similar features and gameplay mechanics to CoH, like cover and dynamic movement and such since the game will be largely based on CoH as the devs have said.

That's why I'm looking forward to it, since for me, anything inspired by CoH, is fucking great or at least will be, or at least I'm hoping it will be.

The only problem might be that it's on the Unity engine, and all of the games I have on the Unity engine run like crap on my comp and I've seen many other people also complain about it.

The engine's optimization is just crap.

Edit: Oh I forgot to mention, the game will have mechs, tanks are still not confirmed but a possibility as well as emplacements have been mentioned but not shown yet in any of their dev videos.

Oh and the game is based on a post WW1 world ravaged by the war, which you can basically already guess by the name.

I hadn't heard of that game. Yes, I am looking for a COH2 replacement. 2000 hours in, and I am getting tired of COH2.

Definitely check it out.

I seriously hope it steals CoH2's players so Relic can feel the weight of their errors and emptiness of their wallets because it's obvious that's the only thing they care about.

They're not the same team that made my favorite RTS game.

What I liked about Sudden Strike campaign missions have huge maps and takes a long time to finish one. It's not like a COH2 placement but I liked it as an RTS.

I mean at least units doesn't pass through walls and such like in Steel Division. LUL

...but multiplayer is very fast paced spam war. I wished they only focused singleplayer.
