I dont know for the others army mortars.
But when u want to use smoke shels with the soviets mortars, it take ALOT of time.
There is no way u can use your mortar to protect a wounded tank, becouse of the time it take to the shel to be fired.
Could we make it fire faster? Maybe it buged to..

i think sometimes its slower then usual, sometimes it works fine

I got the impression mortar smoke is the way it is so its not just the poor man's Panzer Tac and would be used with planning and forsight rather than in a purely reactionary manner.
