Well I saw Rogue One today and well my god I think it's one of the best things to happen to star wars in a while. Tell me what you guys think of it?

Spoilers/Highlights for myself

I honesty think the movie started off a little bit slow but once the movie got into full swing it was honesty fantastic, With some good humor moments (none of that Jar Jar humor crap) Honestly K2S0 and Donnie Yen were my favorite in the Rebel rag tag team.

Yes it was CGI but seeing Peter Cushing character Wilhuff Tarkin brought back to life was one of the highlights for me, although he isn't seen in much of a New Hope and well you know...He didn't make it (Which I think is a shame) Since I think the character of Tarkin is a amazing character in the Star Wars universe. Seeing him in the Empires height of things, well it's just amazing, especially if you have read the book "Tarkin"

Ontop of the goose bumps you first get when you see Vader in the bacta tank. Plus his last scene in the movie (Read the second last paragraph) will be an unforgettable moment, in my opinion up there with the "No, I am your father" since well you get to see the power of Vader and a bunch of defenseless rebels trapped with him.

The movie finial assault was an all or nothing and you'd actually feel it, you know on a New Hope title crawl it says "The rebels have won there first Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire." Well the space battle is just on point, honestly one of the best in the star wars sega (in my opinion) and the ground assault giving me a slight WW2/Vietnam movie vibe (alot of action, people from both sides dying, being pinned down non-stop, The Empire showing no mercy) I'm horrible at explain action scenes but I will say this, it will cut in and out with a space and ground battle at the same time and it's just on point.

The last 5 minutes of the movie is just amazing where you see the Rebel capital ship getting boarded and they're trying to get the plans off ship, but you know what? Lets throw Vader in walking down a dark hallway only his lightsaber lighting up the room, cutting through Rebels, picking them up with the force and throwing them or just the classic force choke. The screen was awesome and you could just see and feel the fear that the rebels had. With Vader cutting through doors and rebels with his saber, to end with him seeing the Tantive IV leave the Rebel capital ship from a docking bay.

Cut to which you're in the Tantive IV where the plans get delivered to Princess Leia (I'm not sure if this is CGI or Carrie Fishers daughter playing her, search the force awakens Carrie Fishers daughter for her camo) To which the final lines of the movie being "We have a new hope" B

Boom.
