Strange message on victory screen

Permanently BannedMy opponent suddenly dropped from a 1v1 and I got a message saying "players are taking longer than expected to confirm match results..." Can anyone explain? I received zero loot points. Did the guy just yank his ethernet cable or something. I apologize if this is a noob question. I've played more than 600 games but this message is a first for me.
"I wish THQ was still alive and made CoH2. Ostheer for life."
