(Re-post from Mapping section)
Greetings all!
It's my second time posting here so apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I have been working on a map in worldbuilder with the objective of creating an 'ultimate' holdout/meatgrinder map against the AI (Please don't judge me :3). Issue is the AI just doesn't spawn enough stuff, it just seems to run out of steam about half way through a game and is virtually no threat after the opening 2-3mins. Even when running 4v2 on MeStation's Nightmare AI mod.
Giving the AI more resources and production buildings doesn't seem the help much either, so my conclusion is I need to "give" the AI units in order to raise it's threat level.
I presume the best way to do this is with SCAR code but I don't seem to be able find any existing guides on spawning in units or even a basic list of functions that can be added to a SCAR file (or in the Worldbuilder itself for that matter).
My ideal outcome would be this:
Spawning in a range of units from infantry to heavy tanks, each unit type at it's own unique, recurring time interval and assigning those units to one of the enemy AIs. In addition I would like to delay the spawning of Heavy Tanks for a certain amount of time, say for a few minutes.
For instance
A infantry squad every 30 seconds.
A light vehicle every 60 seconds.
A medium tank every 90 seconds.
A heavy tank every 180 seconds. But only after 5 minutes have passed.
For every enemy AI player.
Can anyone shed some light on how I might do this?
Thanks in advance.
Help With SCAR code for Meatgrinder Style Map

Here is a list of functions:

Other than those functions, SCAR is just an extension of Lua, so any Lua tutorial should help.

Cheers! I will have a closer look at this sometime this week.
