How to extract your old maps lost on your harddrive

Hello, if you ever have lost your project files for your maps when your harddrive has broken down or your harddrive had to be erased because of some virus there is a way for you to get your files back from the steam workshop.

First you need to go to your steam workshop subscribed stuff, you can find those here

C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\company of heroes 2\mods\scenarios

Then, copy all the files you are subscribed to

then go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2\CoH2\Archives

then go back to \Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2\ right click your screen in the folder, click New then Create new text document then make sure you can edit file types by clicking View on the top left of your folder window then click file name extensions incase you dont have that marked already,

then edit the name of your newly created text document to Extract_SGA.bat then if it changed into another file type right click on it then click edit then copy this into it

archive.exe -a CoH2\Archives\NAME OF THE SGA FILE HERE.sga -e CoH2\Data\scenarios

then you just edit the part after archives with the name of your sga file everytime you need to extract the project files from that sga file.

So remember to put your sga files in Archives folder an remember to put the bat file in your Company of Heroes 2 Main folder
