Mouse lag

I seem to have a lot of lag with clicking. Like for example, I want to move my infantry squad and I point them to move somewhere, but instead my mg is still selected. The same thing happens when I sometimes want to retreat squads, I for example retreat the squad I don't want to retreat even though I already clicked on another squad.. Any ideas?

Check in the options if you have "sticky selection" on. I believe it is on by default. Sticky selection means if you try click on something new but misclick and select nothing the last thing you had selected will still be selected. If you turn it off and misclick nothing then you will have nothing selected.
Obviously this can be an issue if you THINK you have the new unit selected and issue that order to the last unit selected
