I have problems with this mg, it kills models so fast that it doesnt supresses, ending in flamers/flamenade at the face. Still, people say it has the same dps than an mg42. I guess its supposed that it shoots from trenches at max range while IS spot, but its a bit complicated

Made more complicated by the fact that pryo Tommies gain +10 sight range ( 45m) and should gain an extra +10 with Vet 1 whilst garrisoned ( hence 55m ~= Vickers Vet 1 range) but don't.
Building a trench about 20m out is effective, very effective. Also then allows the IS to advance whilst the Vickers covers from the trench.
