Yes, it's back to it's original state. The MG is slightly better, but don't forget the main gun got a nerf, making turret rotation slower and less range, so it's now actually worse at it's AT role. The Stuart is actually 10x better, because it can handle infantry, beats any light tank and can even support against the heaviest of tanks. The stun ability actually stops light vehicles from moving or firing, so it's effectively an easy kill. The AEC and Stuart are almost the same price.
