haven't played this game in a year or so, but do infantry who re-man heavy weapons retain their stats? like, say if i recrew a maxim with shock troopers, will they retain their extra armor while carrying around the hmg?

They retain Health, armor and received accuracy, entity based sight their original weapon, individual popcap(including reinforce cost) entity-type based bulletin bonuses(which is kinda complicated and I literally suck at explaining that but a good example is Rifleman bulletins affecting riflemen models in the Captain and Lieuteanant squads)
