tactical map vs none tactical map

Hi, this may be an old discussion but i was wondering, is it better to use a tactical map or not at all. in most cases i find myself mid game struggling with microing my unit and also macroing them with no tactical map. I have seen the stream of most pro players and they all use tactical map as a form to quickly respond to what's going on on the battlefield. so witch one do you guys prefer?
