How to make a squad weapon upgrade clickable multiple times?

Hi, I've been trying to make a squad upgrade clickable multiple times (like, you can research this upgrade more than once) but whatever I'm doing so far is not working. May anyone please help me?

You have to change from unit upgrade panel to command panel. The former is hard coded to be one-time.

To get around this, Panzergrenadiers - a long long time ago - used to have two separate Panzerschreck upgrades, so that they could buy one or two.
There is another way to do it though, without having to resort to the command panel. If you know your upgrade can only be clicked a few times, not infinite, then make that many upgrades that are numbered from 1 to X. Have each upgrade from 2 to X have a requirement for usage and display that needs the upgrade preceding it, so it won't appear and be clickable until you've bought the prior one.

You can do it by removing the upgrade, and adding the upgrade again. I did it once to an OKW squad so they could upgrade to 3 schrecks.

That will work, too, as long as you don't need the upgrade in a requirement somewhere (for locking other stuff out).
