It seems as if the ability literally does nothing for tanks around it, except give it a nice looking golden icon.

I think you implies the UKF desinating command tank ability, it asically rendering one of your tank completely useless and becoming a sitting duck
First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think

Ability is not useless but its a waste to use it on tank.
