2 bugs in Opera?

I can't load this thread in Opera. When I click on the link it just goes to a blank page forever.

When I vote on a trending topic in Opera nothing appears to happen, although if I reload my page it shows the arrows correctly (like, it shows that I upvoted something). I feel like this used to work in real time.

What Opera version do you use? I have the newest (12.15) and it works for me.
