Input lag(how fast your units respond to a command)

Why did the input lag got alot worse from 0,5 seconds that we had before to 1-2 seconds now? This for an RTS is unacceptable. This is worse than the FPS drops in the game.

My network connection sucks so badly, I've always had 0.5 to 1 second delay, but haven't noticed anything different in the past few weeks. FPS drops and freezes on the other hand...

uggghhh... almost sounds like getting a new computer wouldnt solve my imput lags. Its gotten so bad, since the Brits release back in september, i havent been able to play the game at all.

All posts made are about situations in 2v2's. Not a 1v1 player.

I've been losing connection where the game freezes for about 5 seconds before it catches up.

for me its worse at the beginning of a game, mostly 2-3 seconds.
then it gets slightly better but still randomly 0,5-2 seconds all the game long.

It started for (and many other people; there are several threads on Steam/Reddit) on the 22nd of October. However my input delay issue was fixed a day after the patch.

I have some issues of disconnecting and lag, got a little better after the last patch and after some tweaking on my video card software settings. I'd say that some of my input and connection problems lie on my lap.

Instead of input lag I got something weird recently.

The cursor being abnormal.

- Cursor stuck at the edge of the screen for 1-2 seconds, scrolling screen away that I cannot control, such pain in the ass

- Cursor being freeze for 1 seconds few times in each minute

Those are extremely annoying.

Input delay is close to 0 here. I play everything on lowest settings.

For me the input lags stopped a while back, but the fps is just getting worse and worse, patch by patch...

there is a serious input lag since two patches ago, about one sec

also annoying game freezes for about one or two sec

This game is just a mess. Optimization should always come first. The fact that there is insane optimization issues combined with huge amounts of RNG in game design means the game is nothing more than a roll of the dice in many situations. It's no wonder the community can never really grow. Frustrated players leave constantly even when they introduce new content and patches.

Just played a game where input lag was literally 1 second within the first 3 squads.

*sigh* Relic just doesn't even play it's own game. They release patches that are 2 steps backwards and 1 step forward.

Whatever, this has been par for the course their entire history with COH. ***** them.

Well apart from antialiasing that I have on my gpu instead of game settings I have everything maxed out right now and there is no input lag. Actually there was only one patch when I had problems with it but it got hotfixed really quickly back then. Other than that input lag is so small I cannot feel it unless I play on LTE instead of cable, then it is noticable but really small somewhat like 200ms.

lol! it almost seems like it should be against the law. To release and have people pay money for something, that doesn't work.
