I think it's pretty dumb how if you want to deny a team weapon to your enemy, you either have to use up your own manpower to take it, or pray to RNGesus while you attack ground it at point blank.
My suggestion: let medium tanks or better run over abandoned team weapons to destroy them.

I'd rather like to see tanks run over team weapons without damageing them. A Tiger getting blocked by a Pak on retreat, followed by a graceful pirouette is just...

You can actually run over manned team weapons using the t34. Just use ram on a tank and have the enemy support weapons lined up in front of the ramming target. It will then run them over and destroy the guns in the process.
But yeah, just use the attack command in the buttons tab and target the support weapon. Attack ground is more for shooting through fog of war/smoke.
