Increase Spread of OST troops?

Recently while playing I have realized that Ost pzgrens and grenadiers get squad wiped by grenades and mortars too easily. I look at British Rifle squads and their spacing in the open is insane! What do you guys think about increasing the spacing between units for the Ostheer so there will be less squadwipes?
