I've played COH since it came out, and i've played COH2 beta since it opened (although not that extensively).
Yet I very rarely get a matchup of even skill. I get rank noobs as well as people 20 "levels" above me who suck. I win way too much (maybe 75-80% of the time).
In the old COH i would get perhaps a 4-5 game win streak before i was matched with a player who could crush me. I am clearly not good, so should the system not find someone good who can kick my ass?
Does anyone know how the system determines matchups? Is it random or ELO based? Are changes planned? Are there just too few people around for good matching?
Matcher by ELO or how does it work?

I recently reached level 40, next game i was matched with some1 trying coh for the 1st time, i tyhought it was just random.
BUY SILVER, CRASH BANKSTERS.

Well the level seems to just be a question of time spent playing, not an indicator of skill. So i doubt it uses this to match?
At least i've played people with a huge level that plainly sucked.

ELO based, value can be read from warnings.log (at least it could be in earlier versions, haven't played since closed beta)

OK, so eventually it should stabilize i guess once the system gets people assigned to the correct ratings.

It works now. but it's not related to rank(in game LV).
REAL RANK(based on real skill) is hidden.
