Are there going to be restrictions with all the new bugs?

you could use 'Sign in through Steam' on the site in the future to automatically handle signups and check-ins.
then you could even use the ladders data you have to seed players and pass them to the Challonge API and have the brackets ready without lifting a finger
I told you that you should become a coder here

I don't care how much the staff make, this event is great and if earning money motivates them even more, so be it!
I just don't want Relic to... you know... ruin it for everyone.
The vast majority of Staff on this project are doing it for the community and the game, which includes me (for the avoidance of doubt). Ami did clarify all this in a cast.

It's good to know, thanks. Unfortunately I can't watch all the casts mostly because of different time zones and stuff. But anyway, even if staff do earn money, it's OK. Why not?

Ami getting $5000?
Where did you pull that statistic? All the most invested in this are getting paid, them being the admins and the heads of certain departments who put in extra man hours.
Awesome, that's good to hear. There's a bit a misinformation floating around I guess. Sorry to assume.

My point of view too.
Just consider the hours of entertainment Ami and Co. produce for you to enjoy for nothing. How does he make a living anyway?
If he earns some bucks on this occasion, it's well deserved.
I wouldn't even consider it a problem if he got payed by Relic/Sega. Not if he openly said so.

I'm surprised he's not to be honest. Seems like this website brings a lot of attention to CoH and only strengthens its player base. Sega should be paying them though, not us
