Whats wrong with SMG units?

SMG units like panzergrenadier and strumpioneer are move slow than before. And their weapon mp44 are no recoil anymore. So does the TOMPSEN and other SMGs. It looks like all fire like sten. whats wrong with them? DO TELL ME RELIC!PLZ!!!
