Matchmaking ranking for all team sizes different?

Does the player performance in e.g. 4vs4 matches affect the 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3 ranking (ELO)? In other words can I expect an unbeatable 1st opponent in 1vs1 after winning 100 matches in 4vs4?

Thats the sad thing... all rankings with all teams are independent.
You could be rank 1 with 3 friends and you will still get matched against noobs first in a 4v4 or any other gamemode.
But yeah I think thats the only way it works because the playerbase is too small so the waiting time would be even higher.
