I like the change from coh to coh2 where theres only 2 rows now, one for infantry and one for vehicles (instead of rows by hotkey groups)
just recently buying the western front armies. I think it needs a third row: support units
things in this row would be like your ambulance, medics, undeployed okw trucks, ir scanner half track, and anything else that i havent immediately thought of which are units with no direct combat purpose (eg youd probably keep them out of combat/ the dont shoot back).
I constantly misclick these sort of units in the heat of battle when i say need a vehicle to quickly flank around the enemy. I'd rather only have actual combat vehicle on row 2 to look at rather than 4, where 2 of them i shouldnt even be thinking about since they arent combat vehicles.
Suggestion: third icon row for unit list
