My ex played no games, except Diablo. And when she played that she would get so into it that I eventually had to get her away from the computer least she'd wake the neighbours.

Every time I lose in a tournament while my girlfriend is around she goes "aww I'm sorry" but I can hear how pleased she is. I like to pretend it's because she wants to spend time with me and not because she's being spiteful.
I have converted her to video games though, just like anyone smart does with their girlfriend. I even got her to play the CoH campaign. She has an interesting micro strategy where she puts everyone in heavy cover and then screams while the fighting happens. I asked her if she liked CoH and she said it was OK but she likes being the hero, and that RTS games are really disconnected from the on-the-ground action. Sort of explains how 90% of the community is composed of anti-social ingrates actually.

Although.. she wasn't into CoH... Maybe the game is a "guy-thing"? Who knows. I mean, I really hope this isn't the kind of community which finds "Back to the kitchen"-jokes funny, as I guess that would scare away the female audiences of this game.

Also, my girlfriend plays games, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 being her favorite. Which is pretty darn awesome as I love that game myself.
