Tactical Map is way too small.

I don't understand why most of the tac map is empty screen and out-of-bounds on the map. Please make it larger, or better yet, scalable. Thank you and good day.

I completely agree with you. I have never understood why relic chose for this poor design choice.
It might have something to do with scaling problems on widescreens. However in vCoh it works just fine, even on widescreens.

This is true.

Another problem is that the unit icons are too big. It can be difficult to see/select overlapping icons on the tactical map.

The tactical map is a great feature, and I bind it to the "`" button, always toggling it on/off to check everything.

With smaller unit icons, it would make it more usable to select units to zoom the map to them and see what units are there.

Agreed.

CoH 2's tactical map is inferior to vCoH's one. Make it larger, clearer and cut all that unnecessary visual noise you use to make it look rugged and worn, I don't want to see a radio/radar with bullet holes but a full map.

even if the tac map is bigger there will still be a lot of empty spaces. maybe they can add a chat history, player list, etc etc on the side too.
