Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you steal a German crewed weapon as US then the medics and the ambulance healing ability will not work on your new weapon team. I noticed this in a skirmish match against Wehr where I stole a Wehr mortar. It was well out of combat and when I used the ambulance's healing ability, the other squads around it got healed but it was ignored. The medics also refused to heal it. It was able to reinforce from the ambulance.
I did not test any more extensively than that, so I don't know if it applies to weapons purloined from other factions. No, I did not save the replay.
Weapon teams stolen by US are not healed by ambulance
