Just wondering if anyone has these games or maybe recommends 1 of them? or all of them. (amazon is having a great pc game sale) also before the 28th of Februaury. save an additional 25% if you use this code "CAGROCKS" it works with pre purchase of COH2 and you won't be billed until its ready for download. Hey 25%off is 25% off :)

Just pre-ordered it too!!!! The Old guy is in :P

I bought hearts of iron III a long time ago when it was on sale on D2D I think, never got around to playing it but it did look fun. I cannot speak for the other two but I have heard fairly good things about Europa Universalis from PC gamer.

I got Hearts of Iron 3 in a steam sale a while back. It can be a little confusing and it takes a long time to play, but if you like that kind of game it is pretty good. My biggest problems with it are 1)Recruiting units takes far too long, since by their standards the army you start the game with would have taken hundreds and hundreds of years to build, and 2)you can sink a lot of time into it without getting very far along in the game

But for 7.49, its worth it imo

I know that if you're a hardcore history nerd and like quasi-turn based strategy, you will love Europa Universalis. My best friend used to study history, and he and all his study buddies had 9 hour long EU sessions in between reading and getting hammered.

It's a fucking hard game to get into though, and if you don't like grand strategy or don't care much for historical authenticity, you might as well let it be though. I don't like grand strategy, and I wasn't quite a big enough history nerd to get into this, so it wasn't my thing.

From what I've heard, Civ 5 needs the expansion to be really good.

free 2 play command and conquer is soon. I'll give it a go since it's based on Generals, which was my favourite multiplayer CnC.

I've bought Europa Universallis 3 on my favorite pirate shop (if you know what I mean). Its pretty hard to learn (Imo) but once you know how it works its so awesome I really enjoy their games. I enjoyed Crusader Kings II the most though.
